Pitch of my magazine.

The target audience for a R&B magazine aimed at both genders. I feel it is aimed at both genders because all the artists sing different songs that will attract both genders. I feel the age range is 15-25 this is a wide range that will attract more people. I feel it is aimed at young people as R&B music is more upbeat and this will attract a younger audience. I feel it will be mainly students as this is the age when you want to be up to date with the latest music and want to be like the celebrities. 

I plan to appeal it to my target by what will be in the magazine. My main article is going to be an interview about the latest R&B artist. I feel this will attract my audience as they will want to know about the latest music and the latest artist. I have chosen my artist will be a male rapper & singer. I have decided to have a rapper as I feel it will attract both genders as rapping attracts the boys and that fact that he sings also will attract females. The interview will be about him, about how he got famous and his new albums and tours. This will attract my target audience as they will want to know everything about this new artist so they are up to date with the latest music.

I will also attract my target audience by making my front cover the most appealing page. This is because the first thing you notice on the magazine is the front page so this will have to be the most appealing thing. I will do this by having my colour scheme effective and making sure It will stand out from other competition in the market. The colour scheme will also have to attract both genders so I will have to have colours that will attract bother genders. I will also keep the same colour scheme through out the magazine as the it will look mature and professional.  I will also use cover lines so it will attract my audience to read the magazine. The cover lines will attract them as it will be teasers of what is inside the magazine so my audience will want to read about it. Also the main article which is my double page spread will be the biggest advertisement on the page. This is so that it will attract my audience and will want to read about it. 

It will include fashion. I will do this by having all my models wearing the latest fashion. This is so it attracts a wider range of people. Also people look up to the celebrities and will want to dress like them as they are wearing the latest fashion. If all of my model look stylish with the latest fashion will also make it look more effective and people will want to read about them. also on my contents page I will have female who is an artist but who is also a fashion icon as this is include fashion as they will want to dress like her.
