My first sets of photos are going to be of Allen Day. I have decided to use a man model as I want to attract both genders so I feel by having a ale model on the front page will attract females because they may be attracted to him and males because they will want to be like him. The double page spread I am again going to use the same model as the front cover Allen Day. This is because I want the double page spread to be about the artist on the front page. As he is going to be the new artist and my audience will also want to read about him. The images of my contents page I am going to use a different model. I have decided to use a different model as this may attract a wide range of people as they know that this magazine is going to be about variety of different artists. By having a female it will be different from my front cover where I have used a male. She will also be a fashion icon as she will be wearing the latest fashion and people will want to be like her.

The location of my photos is not important. This due to the fact that I am going to blank the background of this photos to blend in with the background already used for my magazine. The reason I have decided to do this is because all of my background colours that I would want to stand out to grab my target audience attention.  If I have a white background it will not look professional as it will just be a white box with an image inside I feel this will ruin the look of my magazine. I feel by blending them in together will make it look more effective and catch my audience attention.

The equipment I will use I a camera to take the photos on. I will also need a laptop to put the photos on. I will put them on my laptop by using a camera lead so it connects to the laptop and I can send my picture successfully. I will then need an photo editing software so I can blank the background of my images and edit the photo to make it look more effective.

The costume for my front cover image is going to be a hooded jacket and a T-shirt. I have not mentioned the bottoms he will wear as you will not be able to see them as this shot will be a mid shot. I have decided to have a mid shot so he is close to the camera and is making eye contacted with the camera. This is so it is more effective for my audience. I have decided to have a hooded jacket as I would want the hood up on  it so you get more of an effect that he is a rapper. I will use the same clothes as the front cover but as it will be a longer shot I have decided I want him in jeans because I feel these are fashionable and he will have to  be fashionable as the readers will look up to him. I have also decided to have a prop as I feel this will make it look more effective and by having headphones this relates to the text as it is about music.  For the female I have decided to go for a more ‘sexier’ look. I have done this so the males will be attracted to her and the females will want to want to look like her. I have decided for her to wear heels as this is very feminine this will again make the female readers want to be like her. I have decided this shot is going to be a long shot. This is because I feel by showing her whole outfit it make it look more effective.
